What is all this Shh... the baby's sleeping!
We had a busy Memorial Day weekend. We finally moved all our stuff in Memorial Day Weekend (Okay, except all the stuff still at the Cheddar Haus). It was also the weekend of our sixth anniversary. We didn't do anything special, but it did happen to coincide with trading Eric's gold Nissan 2 door coupe with 224,000 miles on it for a 4 door sedan. We will miss that car and the golf ball aerodynamics. It was fun to drive and never needed any repairs, but we can all actually fit comfortably in the new car.
Now, I'm going to back track a little. Elena is growing up so fast. Here's a picture of her a little over 8 months old on April 30th.
Here is a picture of her and Ben from May 13th.
Over Mother's Day weekend Team Gemo got us this fabulous cake to celebrate our moving in! Thanks! There's nothing like good cake!

There was a couple of days the farmer behind us was having a hard time keeping his cows in. Here's a modern day cowboy herding his cows back home through our yard.

Eric finished the driveway and 95% of the land final grade. Here is Elena, May 31st, a little over 9 months old, looking pumped about her new yard.

I can see why people like to have everything settled and in its place before baby. Elena is a wonderful distraction and progress inhibitor. I seem to have tons of things started, but I am never quite able to finish. I finally brought her rocking chair from the Cheddar Haus last night and here she is playing on it today.
